9 months check-up

I had my 9 months well-being check-up today. Guess what? They got new toys in the waiting room.
Patiently, I am waiting for my doctor.
I got measured and found out I weigh 20 lbs (75%) and I am 26 1/4 tall (25%). The percentage remains the same since I was two months old.

Just two shots, baby.

Happy 9 months old, Heidi!

I am 9 months old today. To celebrate, we went to Golden Corral for lunch. I tried some mashed potato and corn bread. Love it!

This red ball is so much fun!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, my dear friends! Thanks for visiting my blog! There will be more exciting news and pictures coming next year, I promise!
Look, I'm playing beside our cute tiny tree.

My new learning table, it helps me learn to stand.

Yes, I got this little farm from daddy and mummy as a gift.

Granby Park

It's December and it's above the 70's. We had a joyful walk at Granby Park in early afternoon. I haven't been in my stroller for a while, so I'm pretty excited.

fun on the chair

Mummy thought I am big enough to sit and play on her chair. I am just happy with this idea!

Cell phone, yes, that's my favorite toy. (Can you see my picture on the screen?)

Still like my saucer

I started to play in my saucer when I was 4 months old. And now, I still spend a short while everyday in it. More important, I am still having fun!

My calendar

2007 is coming. My mummy recently made me this nice calendar. Here are some pages from it.

driving and reading

It's cold and rainy today. I decided to play at home. I started my driving lessons a couple of weeks ago. I am pretty good now. Look, I can drive and waive at the same time!

I'm also learning sign language these days. This is usually the way I apporach my baby sign book.

Play with mummy's cell phone

I am bored of my own toys. I grabbed the cell phone from mummy when she was trying to use it to take me pictures.

It looks yummy, too.

my new buddy

I got a new buddy--Mr. Turtle.

To be my buddy, he has to wear my diaper. It look like my diaper is a bit bigger for him.

That's how we play together.

Thanksgiving dinner

Some thanksgiving pictures.
On Nov. 17, we had a thanksgiving dinner at Lexington Presbyterian Church. They host a big thanksgiving party for international students each year. We enjoyed both the feast and the performances of representatives from various countries.

The photographer really likes me. He took me lots of pictures!

Yummy yummy. I also had turkey dinner that evening (of course, from my baby food jar)

picture fun

My mama's been lazy these days. Instead of taking me new pictures, she started to play with my old ones. The rabbit is her first try. She inserts my picture into the rabbit templet, cuts the rabbit-me and pastes it onto my play ground picture. My laolao (my mama's mama) looked at this picture and thought they really bought me this rabbit outfit. Laughing...
This is a nice picture of me, laolao and laoye that mama made. Since laolao and laoye are in China, we haven't got chance to see each other in person. Mama thought it's a sweet idea to put us in the same picture.

Harbinson State Forest

Going to the forest was not our original plan. But, the weather was just so nice, sunny and warm. We can't stay at home for a whole day. So, we had a walk in the forest in the morning.

I usually take a nap around 10am. Today, although I tried hard to keep awake and enjoy the trees and leaves, I finally fell asleep while daddy carrying me.
What can I say... They make fun of you even when you are sleeping...

beautiful fall

Can you believe it's already mid November? The highest temperature is around 80 today and will be higher tomorrow. I had a walk in the afternoon with my grandparents and we were impressed by the beautiful fall leaves. So many of them, different shapes and various colors.

Oh, never forget to play while you are enjoying the mother nature!

I am satisfied!

Rock-a-Stack

Some updates from me:
I learned to sit independently around 6 months. After my field of view got broadened, I refused to playing while lying any more. I only love to sit and play.
I started to learn to crawl about two weeks ago. I am not getting there yet, but I keep practising.
I had my first 2 teeth just before I turned 6 months; now, still these 2 teeth.
The game I enjoy the most so far is taking glasses off from whoever holds me (if they wear glasses).
I got this Rock-a-Stack toy last weekend. I love to take all circles off the pole. Enjoy my play, my friends!

Happy Halloween!

It's my first Halloween; I am a little fat bee, too lazy to fly.

We went to the Halloween party at Southside Baptist Church . We had fun there!

I played games and won a couple of cute stuffed animals.

Caesars Head State Park

It's a sunny day. We had a trip to Caesars Head State Park, Cleveland, SC with CCCC(my daddy's church). We walked about 6 miles along the trail. I was very excited to see the beautiful fall: leaves, waterfall, and so many friends.

My little friend; she's 2 months younger than I am.

Waterfall
Happy faces.
