Happy Halloween!

We had a Halloween party at school this morning. Three princesses came to hug me right after I entered the classroom. See my expressions after I got hugged by them. After school, mama took me to a Trunk-or-Trick at First Baptist church, which is just a couple of blocks away from my school.

Then, baba joined us. We got to meet people and play games.

I finally understood that I would get candies when I approach the cars.

I didn't forget to count how many candies I got.

Carving my first pumpkin

I brought home a pumpkin a week ago from school. At first, baba wanted to eat it, so mama was searching for recipes. Then, last Saturday, when mama had a BINGO at the halloween party, I got to choose a prize. What I chose was a pumpkin carving kit. So mama finally decided to carve the first pumpkin in her life. It ended up like this: today, baba and I carved the pumpkin while mama took us pictures.

Everyone wanted to get involved, even Mixiao.

Eating

I am always hungry when I get back home from school. So I start eating my appetizer, usually a tomato, a bottle of yogurt, or some crackers.

Today, I got a bag of candies at school. Quickly, I ate them all.

Since I didn't eat much at dinner, I started eating right after we got home. I had two pieces of meat, and of course my evening milk.
After I regained my energy, I helped baba make huajuan, a healthy way to burn my energy before bedtime.

Halloween Party

We went to the Halloween party at Southside Baptist Church this evening. I am Princess Heidi this year.

We got some yummy hot dogs to eat. We played games and I won a lot of candies.

Then, the real adventure began. We had a tour in the haunted house. While we were waiting to get in, we met the angel,

Fun at the zoo

Mama and I visit the zoo this morning. I always love to play in the little garden. Today, I planted some flowers and watered them.

The big gorilla is out rest today. I really wanted to touch him.

It's all about Halloween and fall. Look at this huge pumpkin!

Good-Bye, Sun Bin ayi

Our dear friends Sun Bin ayi and Xinliang shushu moved to Maryland last week. Our student fellowship had a hot pot party for them. We will miss you!
And Mixiao is dreaming of you. I' ll make dumplings for you when you come back next time. So I need to practice from now.

Celebrate my first accident-free week at school

I have been diaper free at school for almost two months since I started preschool in August. I usually have one or two accidents each week. But this past week, I was ACCIDENT-FREE! Cheer!

Another Edventure

Mama and I paid our monthly visit to Edventure today. I am such a big girl now, and I don't need any help with grocery shopping, driving, reading, etc.

A year ago, I could barely touch the lowest holes, but now, I am fine with the middle line :)

Do I look like Handy Manny? I love tools and all the construction (as well as destruction) stuff.
I am really into reading these days. I enjoyed the quite readint time in the library. My favorite book today is one about Australian history (mama had no clue why I prefer to read 'adult' books).

Fall break bbq beside Lake Murray

Baba, mama, and I spent 3 hours with our friends at SCE&G park beside Lake Murray today. It was cool and windy, but it didn't bother me at all. The first thing I did was fishing. Look at the fishing pole I made myself.

Then I picked some small rocks and threw them into the water. I played this over and over.
After lunch, I was even more energetic. I took Elmo for a stroll.
My friend Alice liked to follow me everywhere. We go to the same daycare center, and I like to play with her.

Finally, mama allowed me to play by the water. We tossed small rocks for a long while. We had a feast for lunch. But what I really ate were only pork and chips :) I played 3 hrs in a row except for the 10-min lunch break.

"Princess Heidi" is what I say a lot of times everyday. I want to dress up like a princess all the time.
