Fresh strawberries

We picked a whole bucket of fresh strawberries this morning. Yummy yummy and so much fun!

Baba's birthday

Baba had his birthday last Wednesday. We had Korean food for dinner. And I picked this chocolate cake for him. His age is a secret, but you can guess from the candles:)
I blew the candles for several times and kept saying "try again!"
We had another celebration on Friday in the student fellowship. We had a beautiful chocolate cake this time. Many thanks to Shao Liang shushu, group1 and disciple group!

Our DC trip

We spent Easter in Washington, DC. The main purpose of our trip is to get my travel permit, so I can go back China to visit my grandparents in summer. But we spent two days sightseeing, too. I am not a big fan of museums, but I like the Air and Space Museum. I climbed up and down the fights and ran around the exhibitions.

Mama thought I would like the Natural History Museum, but I just think it's OK. Mama liked it though. It was still cold in DC, but I loved outside much more than inside. There is a flower garden outside smithsonian castle full of the tulips.

Another big hit was the Metro ride. I call it choo choo train.

I was running back and forth between the pond at Capital Hill and the steps. You think I was crazy?

We went to the zoo on Monday afternoon and I saw panda bears the first time.

I also liked the hippo very much.

Easter egg hunt

Today, we went to an Easter celebration at First Baptist Church in W. Columbia (just one block from my school) I was in the 3,4,5 group. First we did some fun activities inside. I dyed 2 eggs: one blue, one orange.

Then I put the candy into a bag according to the color instructions. Mama found that I actually knew a lot colors (At home, whenever she asks me about colors, I always answer "purple")

I also decorated 3 cookies.
Next, we went outside to the patting farm, where I patted bunnies, ducklings, and chickens.

After that was the exciting egg hunt. I was searching very carefully, even behind the bushes.
We were a little tired after all the fun activities. Nothing was better than a picnic!
