lights at the zoo

We did manage to go to see the lights at the zoo before Christmas. It was very cold, so we didn't stay too long. I am not a fan of lights; all I was interested was the popcorns. I also refused to take a picture with Santa. If you could remember, I cried in the past two years when I had to meet him.

My school's Christmas celebration

My school had our annual Christmas party last Saturday. I was coughing a bit, but I didn't want to miss this celebration. This was us before the singing started. I got excited when I saw the colorful lights.

We sang more than 10 songs. More than half of them I couldn't really 'sing', but baba and mama think I did a great job.

Then I decorated cookies and made some crafts.

Even mama wants to be a reindeer at this time of the year.

Helping mama to clean the cream bowel

One of my favorite things to do about baking is to clean the cream bowel.

Heidi decorates the Christmas tree

We put up our tiny Christmas tree on Thanksgiving. I started to decorate it right away. I change the decorations everyday and it's so much fun. Now, there are my sunglasses, flower ring, pencil, hair band and so on.

I am practicing my ballet moves. I've been taking ballet lessons for more than 2 months. I am not quite good at it, but I am getting there.

Heidi the puzzle queen

I spent a lot of time playing puzzles everyday. I am really good at it now. I can finish a 24-piece puzzle in minutes:) Can you believe I did all of them by myself?

Rescue Prince Cat

Last weekend, we took Mixiao's taxi out of the closet and were waiting for the maintenance guy to come to fix our heating. The silly cat got into the cage by himself and decided not to come out. Then Heidi invented the 'Rescue Prince Cat' game. Basically, I was a mean witch, who

locked Prince Cat in the cage, Heidi was the princess who saved Prince Cat.
Since Mixiao didn't want to come out, we had to play this game over and over...

Happy Halloween 2009!
This afternoon, we first went to a Trunk or Treat at First Baptist Church of West Columbia. I got balloons and lots of treats there.

Then, as usual, we went to Southside Baptist Church for the party and games!

I played much better than last year. Halloween this year is really fun!

Both mama and I haven't been feeling well during the past month, so no new pictures of me. The good news is we are getting much better now. Here are some pictures I took at school.

No more sickness

Hi my friends, long time no see. I was sick for almost two weeks; first a very bad cold/flu, then a few days after my recovery, a stomache flu. There were some virus going on at my school during the past few weeks. But I am all right now. Today I went to Edventure with my baba. Of course I always have fun there.

The birds are really hungry

Probably we were the first visitors to feed them that morning, so you can imagine how they welcomed us.

Splash, splash, splash

We had a party at Saluda Shoals park sunday afternoon to celebrate Chinese church's new school year. I like to play with water, but I am also afraid of wet nose and wet eyes. I was very cautious at the beginning. But soon I started to have fun!

My animal friends

The black-footed cat is sooooo cute. I know I've said it again and again, but it's just so cute. I keep asking mama why the meerkat are digging holes. Mama says, 'they are playing hide and seek.'

I ride the giraffe every time I visit the zoo. He can't move up and down, but I love him anyway.

And do you know why I was so happy today? Because baba went to the zoo with us and took us pictures.
