Santa came to our place

Santa came to our place, and he gave me a lot of presents! I only asked for a pair of scissors, but he gave me two pairs, plus a princess dress-up box. I got presents from my other little and big friends, too. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Making Christmas cookies

We made some Christmas cookies after dinner. I did most of the work: cutting cookies with cutters, decorating cookies, and of course eating them.

Here are the cookies we made. Mama helped me to decorate some of them, but I did most of the work!

zoo on Christmas eve

It's Christmas eve. Mama and I decided to give baba a break at home. So we visited the zoo. It was quiet there, not many visitors. We enjoyed the sunshine and the peaceful moments.

I brought the new camera I got from my school friends (We each brought a gift and exchange in my class) and took pictures of the animals.

There are many Christmas trees at the zoo and a lot of presents, too.

We discovered sth new in the garden -- a pink elephant-- my favorite animal and color!

We visited the zoo last Saturday. The weather was great, and we saw a lot of animals. These are our favorites:

drawing and making dumplings

I like the easel I got this week and I draw everyday. I am a funny painter.

I also love making dumplings. I help baba and mama every time we make them.

Lights before Christmas

We went to see the lights in the zoo last evening with yyr and Li Xin ayi. It turned out I was not insterested in lights at all. But I had fun riding the carrousel and feeding the goats.

Nobody was surprised (except for the Santa) when I started to cry hard. Despite the candy mama gave me, I tried to run away when we were in line waiting. Check here for my last year's picture with Santa

I felt much better after the Santa episode. We played with the little houses for a while.

We went to a wedding today

Baba's officemate Patrick got married today. We went to the wedding and then the reception. Congratulations!

CCCC Children's Christmas program

The Chinese church held a Children's program Friday evening to celebrate Christmas. Our class (2~3 years old) sang 'Jesus loves me' in both English and Chinese. Not surprisingly, I never opened my mouth during the performance :)I like my Christmas dress, and I believe I am a princess when wearing it.

School Christmas party

My school had a Christmas party this afternoon. The kids had a wonderful performance: we sang more than ten songs and danced. Well, if you are wondering why I am not in the singing picture, here you can find me. A few younger kids were too afraid to stand on the stage and sing, and I was one of them. I ended up sitting on my teacher's knee throughout the performance.

I am addicted to shoes

I always like to try on different shoes at home. I am particularly interested in shoes that are not mine.

I even try to tie the shoe whenever I get a chance.

Thanksgiving

Both mama and I were hit by stomach flu just before Thanksgiving day. So basically we cancelled all planned activities and stayed at home resting. On Black Friday, we went to TRU and got baba and I some toys.
I got a 120-piece food set and a medicial kit. I play with them over and over, and our apartment is messy ever since :)

We had dumplings for dinner Sunday evening. I helped during the whole process.
