St. Patrick's day parade

The weather was perfect on St. Patrick's day. We took the girls to watch the parade. Iris loved it. She got candies, necklaces, bracelets and othertreats. She waved to people and got so excited to see the puppies and balloons. Heidi enjoyed it too. But if you know Heidi, you know she wouldn't say she likes anything or dislike anything. Pretty much no one (excpet for us sometimes) can tell if she likes something or not.

We finally realized it is not a good idea that we drive all the way from downtown to home after work, pick up both girls, then drive all the way back to downtown, eat dinner, go to Edventure, then drive back home. We got the year pass so we can go on weekends!

Playing at home

OK I have to confess. I have been a lazy blogger recently. So many things going on with my workm my reserach, my new laptop, the kids, esp. the sick kids:) Excuses and excuses. We actually are still doing fine and having fun.

After grandparents left for China, we rearranged the two rooms upstairs. One room is just the girls' play room, the other one is our study.

Iris was having a stomach flu. Can't tell, right? It wasnt' too bad. She recovered in 3 days.
