Carving my first pumpkin
I brought home a pumpkin a week ago from school. At first, baba wanted to eat it, so mama was searching for recipes. Then, last Saturday, when mama had a BINGO at the halloween party, I got to choose a prize. What I chose was a pumpkin carving kit. So mama finally decided to carve the first pumpkin in her life. It ended up like this: today, baba and I carved the pumpkin while mama took us pictures.

What fun! A new American tradition for you to try.
If you want to eat pumpkin, it is easier to but canned pumpkin. I can give you a good recipe for pumpkin pie with cream cheese layer if you want.
Yeah, we never bought pumpkins of any size before. I never made any pies either:) I'd like to try pumpkin and sweet potato pies sometime. Would u send the recipe to my email address zhufan11@hotmail.com? Thx.
